x402.org facilitator
The x402.org facilitator is the public facilitator served from the protocol's own project site. It verifies and settles payments for sellers that configure it, and it maintains a discovery catalogue of its own, separate from any other facilitator's.
It is a facilitator in the ordinary sense: sellers point their endpoints at it, and it exposes the protocol's /verify, /settle and /supported operations. The sellers that settle through it are the population of its own catalogue.
The consequence for discovery is that a catalogue lists what settles through its own facilitator. An endpoint configured against a different facilitator does not appear here. Which catalogue an endpoint can be found in follows from which facilitator it settles through, not from which documentation it was set up against.
→ The facilitator networks probe402 derives targets from, and each network's own advertised kind-set, are republished with provenance at the networks record.
